Our History: The original website began with the name fisher-of-man.com. The concept began with Dave Wienk who was in search of a website that offers a Christian perspective for outdoor vacations. Dave couldn't find that and decided to start the website. Chris Myer, our current president, happened to have somewhat of a similar vision and began doing research on the internet to see if anyone had started a Christian travel site. He couldn't find anything really on the web that satisfied what he was searching for. There was nothing to give Christians an option on who to use for their vacation adventures.

Chris came across the fisher-of-man.com website. Dave had wanted someone to take over the site as it was becoming labor intensive. By the grace of God, Chris was that person. The vision of the site includes a much expanded site that caters to not only those interested in outdoor recreation but other forms of travel. The challenge is for us to make travel decisions that glorify God.

It took awhile but a new site was launched in May 2004 that allowed for suppliers to instantly purchase and update their listing. The listing information also included more features for suppliers. The goal was to provide an incredible amount of information to web surfers and to make it as easy as possible for suppliers.

Our Location: We are located in Branson, MO. Branson is one of the most unique vacation destinations in the country combining the best of outdoor recreation with live entertainment and theme parks.

Our Passion: We are passionate about putting Christians together with travel businesses that are Christian owned and operated or Christian friendly.

Statement of Faith: Our Faith can not be stated any better than in The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
